Serving Lubbock and Surrounding Counties
Providing Help, Creating Hope, Serving All People
We are dedicated to providing services to the most vulnerable and most in need in our community: at risk families, the young, the elderly and immigrants.
We are here with services to bolster and support their lives.
Due to COVID-19 and our desire to provide a safe environment for our staff and clients, we are providing services remotely via phone, email, and fax.
ID, Social Security Cards for all household members and Proof of Income for all household members is required for Food Voucher consideration.
The South Plains Food Bank stops giving out food at 3:30pm, so we will stop giving out vouchers at 3pm on weekdays. A case manager will reach out to you in 2-3 business days, but earlier if possible. We ask for your patience as this time.
Emergency Assistance provides service to those in need with utilities, food, clothing, hygiene, eye exams & glasses, and prescription assistance. It receives funding from Covenant Health Systems, Lubbock Lions Club, LP&L, and generous individuals.
The Elderly Outreach Program provides assistance with dental (e.g., dentures), prescriptions, hearing aids, and eyeglass services to individuals 60 years and older. Call to schedule an appointment, and we see most people that day. Lubbock Area United Way funds elderly Outreach.
