TXU Energy Beat the Heat 2026

With summer heat impacting the most vulnerable Texans, TXU Energy is teaming up with Catholic Charities of Lubbock to provide relief.

On Saturday, August 1, volunteers will distribute nearly 400 fans to South Plains families in need.  Please note, fans will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, in a drive-through distribution.

This project is possible thanks to a $10,000 donation from TXU Energy's signature Beat the Heat program.  For more than 25 years, TXU Energy has helped thousands of Texans stay safe and cool in dangerous summer heat.
