Catholic Charities Staff Members Recognized for Years of Service

Several Catholic Charities of Lubbock staff members were recently recognized for their years of dedicated service at the Lubbock Area United Way Annual Meeting, honoring their commitment to serving families and individuals throughout the South Plains.

 

The recognition highlighted team members whose combined years of service reflect decades of compassion, leadership, and faithful dedication to the agency’s mission.

 

Honorees included Elizabeth Salamanca and Serena Martinez who were recognized for five years of service with the Family and Youth Success Program. Their work supports children and families with free counseling and case management, which helps families build stability, resilience, and long-term success.

Michael Granger, Chief Operations Officer, and Carol Alonzo, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, were each recognized for five years of service. Both play key leadership roles in strengthening agency operations and ensuring the mission and impact of Catholic Charities of Lubbock are clearly communicated to the community.

Robert Gonzales, who serves at the agency’s thrift store, The Resale Center, was recognized for 20 years of service, reflecting his long-standing commitment to supporting the agency’s work.

 

Two longtime leaders were honored for significant milestones in their careers with Catholic Charities of Lubbock. Sabrina Robbins, Chief Assistance and Outreach Officer, was recognized for 25 years of service, and Cynthia Quintanilla, Executive Director, was honored for 30 years of service. Together, their decades of leadership and service have shaped the agency’s programs, outreach, and mission, serving thousands of individuals and families across the South Plains.
