Christ the King Cathedral Honored for Service with Catholic Charities
Christ the King Cathedral was nominated by Catholic Charities, and received the 2022 Adult Group award under the Business and Organiaztions category during the Volunteer Center of Lubbock's 26th Annual Cornucopia Luncheon on Tuesday, November 1st.
Christ the King Cathedral has been involved in the Lubbock community for more than 35 years. Over that time, CTKC groups have helped cook and serve meals, build and repair homes, and collect food and household items.
In addition to assisting Catholic Charities, Christ the King Cathedral has helped many other community organizations including Grace Campus, the Nurturing Center of Lubbock, Meals on Wheels, the Lubbock State School, Habitat for Humanity, St. Benedict's, and Mission Carlsbad.
Christ the King Cathedral staff and ministry leaders truly lead by example. As a united group of families and individuals, they strive to serve the community and find great joy in seeing parents and grandparents pass on the tradition of service.
