Food Donations Needed to Support Community

Catholic Charities is seeking donations of nonperishable food and household staples to meet an increasing demand for food assistance. Commonly needed items include canned soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, oatmeal, cereal, rice, and beans.

“Our emergency food pantry is one of the most critical ways we respond to people in crisis,” said Cynthia Quintanilla, Executive Director of Catholic Charities. “Whether it’s a senior on a fixed income, a family facing unexpected hardship, or someone without a place to call home—your donation can help us bring hope and stability to their lives.”

Food donations are accepted Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Catholic Charities main office, located at 102 Avenue J, Lubbock, TX 79401. To coordinate a food drive, please contact Carol Alonzo at carol@cclubbock.org or 806-642-4478.
