TXU Energy Beat the Heat Fan Giveaway

With summer heat impacting the most vulnerable Texans, TXU Energy is teaming up with Catholic Charities of Lubbbock to provide relief. 

 

On Saturday, August 1, beginning at 7 AM, volunteers will distribute nearly 400 fans to the South Plains families in need.  Fans will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, in a drive-through distribution at 102 Avenue J. in Lubbock, Texas. 

 

Fans will be purchased with a $10,000 donation from TXU Energy's signature Beat the Heat program.  For more than 25 years, TXU Energy has helped thousands of Texans stay safe and cool in dangerous summer heat.
