Parent Empowerment Program

Apply Now / Registrar Ahora

The Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) is a program that assists those who are currently accepted or already enrolled in an educational program (for example, a vocational, certification or degreed program). PEP assists mostly low-income families, with at least one child under the age of 18. We can help low-income people who live in Lubbock even if they do not have children.  (PLEASE NOTE:  This program is NOT intended for graduate students or those applying to graduate school.)

Those accepted into the program can possibly be assisted with aid in tuition, books, uniforms, rent, childcare, utilities, and mileage reimbursement.

To inquire further about the program, fill out a form by clicking on the APPLY NOW button below.

PLEASE NOTE:  Once an application for the Parent Empowerment Program is submitted, our team will make up to THREE attempts to contact the applicant to continue the enrollment process. If we do not receive a response after these attempts, we will assume assistance is no longer needed and the application will be closed. Individuals will need to reapply if support is still needed.
